Recycling Of Inert Waste
Grange Construction Materials operate a recycling station at Kelhead quarry. The quarry uses a MOBIREX MR 122 Z impact crusher from Kleemann. For washing and reprocessing recycled materials into new product we use a state of the art CDE M2500 E4 mobile washing plant with AggMax 83 portable logwasher. This enables us to manufacture new product from inert waste materials accepted into the recycling station. All suitable materials accepted are recycled, re-classified and used for many purposes including sub bases, fill materials and concrete aggregates.
Recycled Concrete Aggregate: Concrete aggregates manufactured in this way can be used in Grange Proprietary and Design Concrete Mixes at the customers request. The use of this type of aggregates in your works concrete can provide a more cost effective and environmentally friendly solution than standard concrete. Note that we do not supply customers with concrete manufactured from recycled aggregate as a matter of course, you do need to specifically request it, an article showing the mixes available for supply using re-cycled concrete aggregate can be found on this link
If you are interested in using any of our recycled products or providing inert waste please get in touch with either Stuart (07802 424837) or Robbie (07947274144) who will be happy to assist
